Marzanna Parade on March 10

Please join the students of Polish School of Charlotte and their families at our event to welcome Spring to be held at the Freedom Park between 3:30 and 5pm this Sunday, March 10th. If you want to learn more about the Marzanna tradition in Poland, read this article on our site.

You will find us at shelter #3. We reserved several shelters, so if you want you can bring a snack or lunch and eat it in the park. The main program will begin at 3:30pm with “Krakowiak” – Polish dance performed by our students in traditional Polish folk costumes, to be followed by the Marzanna Parade around the lake.

(School Students and their parents are expected to arrive at 2pm – see details here)

For your convenience, we are including driving directions to the Freedom Park,
and here the park’s map, where you can locate parking lots and shelter #3 where we will meet.

We hope to see you there!
