Exciting news from the Polish School of Charlotte – After a three year pause, the Polish School of Charlotte is planning to resume in-person classes in the Fall of 2022.  We are currently in the planning phase and will be posting more information about registration and future events later this summer.

The Polish School of Charlotte is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization – this means that all donations to our School are deductible from federal taxes.

Picnic Celebrating International Children’s Day

On Saturday, June 4, 2022 the Polish School of Charlotte hosted over 150 guests at a picnic in Pineville Lake Park. We had Polish music, musical games and relay races for children, face painting, and delicious kielbasa and other food sponsored by Zygma European Groceries and Deli and Lidl. We are in the planning phase of resuming in-person classes in the Fall of 2022. Please follow us on Facebook and our website for upcoming news.

8th Annual Diocesan Polish Mass

On Sunday, August 25 at 2:00 p.m., St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church hosted the 8th Annual Polish Diocesan Mass in Honor of Our Lady of Czestochowa, Pope St. John Paul II, St. Maria Faustina Kowalska and Bl. Fr. Sopocko, the Spiritual Director of St. Faustina. The Mass was in the Polish language with the homily given in both English and Polish. Following the Mass, there was a reception with light refreshments.

UNCC International Festival

Poland was represented at the 44th Annual International Festival at UNC Charlotte on Saturday, September 21, 2019. Children from the Polish School of Charlotte participated in the parade wearing traditional Krakowiak costumes and the school hosted a booth with cultural artifacts.
