Mr. Milewski’s Sabre from World War II

November 11 is the Independence Day in Poland. To celebrate this important holiday and teach our students about it, we have a very special guest!

One of our local residents, Mr. Andrzej Milewski has been invited to come to our School on Sunday, November 11th to talk to our students about Polish independence and his experience while fighting during World War II. He is one of a very few soldiers who survived the battle of Monte Cassino in Italy. (The Allies suffered arround 55,000 casualties in the battle.)

It is with a great pleasure that we would like to invite you to join us for a separate meeting with Mr. Andrzej Milewski at 4pm that day, November 11th, to listen to his stories (in Polish and English). He will be happy to answer questions as well. The meeting will take place in the Fellowship Hall of Trinity Presbyterian Church (3115 Providence Road, Charlotte).

Please share this invitation with your friends. We will gladly welcome anybody who would like to hear more about the Polish Independence Day and the Battle of Monte Cassino!
